During the Internet of Things course, students will be creating circuits linking microprocessor to input and output components. They will need to understand basics of electronic circuitry, as will you as teacher – and you will need to understand it well enough to help students troubleshoot when circuits don’t work as expected, e.g. find missing connections or components put in back to front etc.
The best way to get familiar with this is build some circuits yourself. You can download our Electronic Circuits primer in Session 2 of the Internet of Things Course.
